When it comes to Health, Safety, and Environmental Management for our people, service providers, and the communities affected by our drilling operations, Bostech is committed to excellence. As one of the leading drilling companies in Western Australia, we prioritize safety and sustainability in every project.
We achieved Certification to AS/NZS 4801:2001 (Safety Management Systems) back in 2016, and this has been developed in consultation with industry safety consultants, along with input from our major clients.
Reviewed on an annual basis, it encompasses an extensive range of Safe Working Procedures along with information on training, maintenance, emergency procedures, hazard risk management and MSDS’s.
Our core principles in regards to Health, Safety and the Environment are:

Environment
By using a compact Zero Impact Trailer, we are able to contain all drill samples, cuttings, outside returns, groundwater, and drill waste—preventing any harm to the drill site. The waste is then transferred to an auxiliary pod or barge and disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. As one of the trusted drilling companies in Western Australia, we prioritize eco-friendly practices, ensuring minimal environmental impact.
During the drilling process, the site is further protected from oil spills or contamination through the use of bunding and spill matting under the drilling rig.
